The GSO framework expands on the generic learning outcomes (GLOs), within the Inspiring Learning for All (ILfA) resource, to address social impact. In this piece of work, MLA Yorkshire's objectives were to:
- Provide training, support and guidance for up to six pilot project teams in understanding the GSOs and how to apply them to one key, identified programme;
- Evaluate the programme, providing guidance on using the value of the GSOs in this way, with suggestions for a successful methodology which could be followed by other museums, libraries or archives and addressing issues raised by the project.
The report covers the methodology and details of the facilitated work with participating organisations and evaluates the project and provides future recommendations for future work before drawing final conclusions. Further outputs from the project were the reports produced by the participating organisations and these are drawn on in this evaluation report and are available to download as separate documents.
