MLA is required by law to initiate formal tendering processes and to announce them through the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) in cases where the estimated total value of the purchasing requirement over a period of 4 years is likely to exceed the current EU procurement thresholds as defined in the Public Contracts Regulations 2006.

Capturing outcomes form Regional Museum Hubs' Community Engagement Activities

Respond by: 18th August 2008 @ 17:00 hrs

This contract will be to undertake work to evaluate the implementation of community engagement activities at a targeted number of MLA funded museum sites. 

The main objectives of this evaluation will be to: 
1) Capture the outputs of these activities and track, when feasible, progress of outcomes and impacts;
2) Capture the effectiveness of organisational development activities undertaken to deliver these activities. 

Selected consultants will be asked to review the feasibility of capturing the social return on investment of these activities.  Consultants will be required to manage expectations and requirements multiple stakeholders. The primary audiences for this report will be policymakers and practitioners. Outputs will include workshops and knowledge exchange forums, in addition to standard final report. Results will be used to support work around best practice, identify innovation and support further work in this area.
