International Activity

International Activity makes a positive contribution to our sector and MLA works to develop international networks and links, export and import good practice and examine sources of funding.

In September 2002 MLA published its first international strategy International Activity: A Strategic Plan for Action 2002/06 (PDF 111KB) The strategy has provided the framework for future collaboration with partners in this country and overseas on international issues. Since the strategy was launched there have been a number of initiatives to support its priority areas:
