British Deaf Association (BDA) Sign Community Website

The largest Deaf organisation in the UK run by deaf people, working for a society where Sign Language users have the same rights, responsibilities, opportunities and quality of life as everyone else.

Deafsign

Website offering information, contacts and discussion on issues related to deafness and sign language; includes an interactive discussion forum, email subscription list, BSL sample section, myth buster, and resource for schools.

DeafWorks

Deaf-led business dedicated to advising, supporting and empowering the Deaf Community and those who work with them.

Hearing Concern

The only charity in the UK solely dedicated to deaf and hard-of-hearing adults. Provides advice, information and support, to promote communication access and to raise public and professional awareness of the issues associated with hearing loss.

National Deaf Children's Society

Royal Association for Deaf People

Helping deaf people get the most out of life. Services include centres; information and advice; fact sheets; communication support; chaplaincy and training.

Royal School for the Deaf Derby

Bilingual school providing deaf children with access to language, literacy and all curriculum areas through BSL and English.

UK Council on Deafness

Works with and for deaf organisations in the UK by providing information, advice and support and by representing the views of the sector to government and policy makers.
