Users with speech impairments

1 Voice

Family and social perspective on communication and recognizes the great need for adult role models to inspire children and families alike. 1 Voice promotes families supporting each other to overcome the isolation that being unable to speak can bring.

AFASIC

Parent-led organization to help children and young people with speech and language impairments and their families; provides information and training for parents and professionals; produces a range of publications.

Augmentative & Alternative Communication Policy

Northamptonshire County Council Document useful as a reference for others tasked with defining AAC policy and procedures.

British Stammering Association

Support and help for children and those who experience stammering, library - loaning books, audio and video tapes, also guidelines to help your child and self help.

Communication Aids Project

Funded by the DfES and managed by Becta. CAP is designed to help pupils who have a significant difficulty in communicating with others.
