Action for Archives  Action for Archives is the MLA Partnership's new programme of practical support and development for archives, both regionally and nationally.
By investing over £250,000 in 2007/08 we will make a real impact on archive services in England. Focusing our funding on a small number of schemes that will work directly with archive services. These programmes are based on successful projects that have been tested by the MLA regional agencies, and our aim is to develop them further as national programmes. These national programmes will run in selected regions, with over 80 archive services. Over the next three years we hope to expand these programmes with available funding.
