MUSIC ONLINE: LISTENING

Music Online: Listening is the gateway to Alexander Street Press’ music listening databases:

  • African American Music Reference – chronicles history of African American music from early slave spirituals through to 1970
  • Classical Music Reference Library – spans entire history of Western classical music from the Medieval period to the 21st century, including Baker’s Dictionary of Music, Baker’s Biographical Dictionary of Musicians, and Baker’s Student Encyclopedia of Music
  • Classical Scores Library – contains some of the most important classical music scores, manuscripts, and previously unpublished material.
