The grant scheme for storytelling projects has now closed. The funding was available for Phase 1 of Literature & Storytelling, one of the strands of Setting the Pace, MLA’s programme for The London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

The funding was available to pay for a small grants scheme to support storytelling events in museums, libraries and archives. The grants will support activities to bring alive the stories in collections - using storytellers, music, dance or poetry. The storytelling events will coincide with the Launch of the Cultural Olympiad (26-28 September 2008).
