Renaissance London

Renaissance London is playing a key role in the development of a vibrant, diverse and sustainable museum sector. It is working towards making the region's museums more relevant and enjoyable for everyone, ensuring that they participate in improving the quality of life for all Londoners.

To achieve this, Renaissance London is building on existing strengths within partner museums in order to develop a concentration of expertise within the sector. This expertise is then disseminated to the regional museum community in order to deliver high quality museum services.

    Museums at Night is a national campaign to showcase the unique and vibrant museums, galleries, heritage sites, libraries and archives in the UK. Building on the success of 2009's events, 2010's after-hours celebration of collections will run from Friday 14th May to Sunday 16th May. Museums and galleries alike will aim to inspire fresh discovery by opening their doors to late night visitors and unrolling an imaginative array of activities across the country.
