Plans drawn up to maximise frontline impact in wake of CSR

Responding to questions about the detailed funding consequences following on from government’s decisions on the MLA budget allocation for the next three years, MLA Partnership Chief Executive Roy Clare said:

"No decisions have been taken about any budget allocations from the recent CSR settlement for the MLA Partnership. All budgetary decisions will be taken after careful consideration of a number of factors including the reduction of costs within MLA Partnership itself. The overall aim will be the delivery of maximum benefit to communities and the public. Proposals will then be put to the MLA Board. Their deliberations are not expected for some weeks."
