The MLA is keen that people and organisations that have an interest or contribution, are consulted on the development of ideas and policies that will ensure museums, libraries and archives play the most effective role possible in improving learning and communities, and the quality of life in general.

MLA is investigating the concept of online book lending and has commissioned research to gauge user reaction by taking a range of views from the public.
