Borrowing Library Books Online
This report is a public consultation conducted to assess the reaction of library and non-library users, and the potential demand, for an online book borrowing service. Books would then either be delivered direct to the borrower or collected from the local public library.
Among the questions explored are the likely price-range that different groups may be willing to pay for the service, preferences in delivery options and a view on the likely levels of usage.
The report explains the qualitative and desk research used and a range of recommendations are proposed.
