Programmes

We deliver, either directly ourselves or in partnership with other government bodies, a range of funded programmes to develop our sector, provide practical support, and help drive improvement and best practice.

The biggest single programme run by the MLA, is Renaissance.  But we are actively involved in, or lead many others, designed to deliver government initiatives particularly in the cultural sector. Ultimately our aim is to ensure that museums, libraries and archives are working well and effectively with other local services, so they deliver maximum impact for the public to help build communities and inspire learning.
