Strategic Commissioning
Strategic Commissioning aims to:
- increase demand from schools for museum and archive education
- increase supply of museum and archive education activities
- widen access for teachers to museum and archive education
Projects will demonstrate the role of museums, or archives in delivering science learning.
Science in Your World grant scheme will provide opportunities to discover the science behind collections, meet scientists and engineers and put science into context of the everyday world.

The Initial Teacher Education (ITE) grants programme is a scheme designed to build learning partnerships between museums, archives and organisations offering initial teacher education.
