Strategic Commissioning 2009-11
In July 2010 Karen Taws Consultancy Services in partnership with Alan Wann and Caroline Murphy were commissioned by the Museums Libraries & Archives Council (MLA) to carry out an evaluation of the Strategic Commissioning Programme. This evaluation focused on the impact Strategic Commissioning has had on the organisations involved in the programme.
Strategic Commissioning Workforce Skills Development programme 2009-11
In February 2010 the Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) commissioned BOP Consulting to evaluate the Strategic Commissioning Workforce Skills Development Programme (WSDP) 2009-11. This evaluation concentrated on the Initial Teacher Training, Learning Links, Watch This Space and Continuing Professional Development programmes.
Strategic Commissioning 2007-08
The work undertaken in the current year is being evaluated to measure the impact of the programme against Every Child Matters outcomes.
Strategic Commissioning 2006-07 evaluation
In 2006-07 the Strategic Commissioning programme had a direct impact on over 20,000 young people and more than 2,000 teachers and cultural sector staff. This evaluation report demonstrates the positive impact that museum and archive education has on pupil's attainment, behaviour, attitude and skills and the value that both teachers and pupils put on museum and archive education.
