Renaissance East Midlands

The overarching aim of Renaissance East Midlands has been to create a truly inclusive community across the cities and counties of the region by working with museums of all sizes. Nearly all museums in the East Midlands have now benefited in some way since the programme's inception in 2002. This has had a significant impact on outcomes relating to museums development as well as audiences.

Between 2004 and 2011 a wealth of resources have been developed for the museum community, as part of the Renaissance East Midlands programme. In 2011, significant changes are being made to the delivery of the Renaissance programme, and in order to ensure that these resources remain available, a resource pack entitled Museums Moving Forward has been produced. The East Midlands Museums Service (EMMS) are now hosting these resources.
