Statistics

The Museums, Libraries and Archives Council has been designated a "producer of official statistics" under the Statistics and Registration Services Act 2007 (SRSA) with effect from 1 April 2009.

The SRSA aims to improve public trust and confidence in government statistics.

A list of all statistics produced by the MLA is available in the MLA Statistics Publication Schedule. The Schedule is a working document and will be regularly updated.

The MLA also works with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and other NDPBs on the release of their official statistics. The DCMS statistics publication schedule is available from their website.
