Security advice

The MLA's National Security Adviser has specialist knowledge and experience of security issues relating to museums, galleries, archives and libraries. It is important to regularly consider emerging trends and assess risks and take steps to reduce them.

Guidelines and factsheets on security issues are available on the Collections Link website. Security Guidelines which apply to items to be loaned under the Government Indemnity Scheme can be found at the GIS section of the website

For further information please contact the National Security Adviser on 0121 345 7311 or email NationalSecurityAdviser@mla.gov.uk
